To be honest, in order to answer this question, I had to do some research on the Internet, because I had never heard of Fethullah Gulen’s name before. Was he a bad person? Was it unpleasant to be affiliated with Gulen? Except for the hate sites that lack credibility, Gulen was introduced as a person of peace and dialogue and his efforts are supported by famous statesmen such as Bill Clinton, James Baker and Kofi Annan. I also found out that he was granted permanent residency by the US authorities. If he were a dangerous person, he wouldn’t be granted residency by American authorities.
Here is some nostalgia for you. After seeing Harmony Schools were awarded with the $30M federal grant, those attackers must be very regret about their hilarious posts made a few years ago.

This is certainly a great news for Harmony family. Before you read this great news, I would like to share some insights on this. As a Harmony parent, I am glad that it has become a tradition for Harmony Schools to be at the top of any “best of” list in the nation.
Governor Rick Perry honored Harmony by granting a state proclamation as to Harmony Public Schools (HPS), designating the week of May 6 – 12, 2013 as “Celebration of STEM Education Week in Texas!” This celebration will be the first of its kind in Texas history, with Harmony at the helm of championing the importance of STEM education.
